4lthangrund zieht um — und wir brauchen eure Unterstützung.
4lthangrund eröffnet zwei neue Orte in der Nähe der alten WU, um weiterhin Raum für Kultur, Awareness, Nachbarschaft und Gemeinschaft zu schaffen.

Endlich Räume.
Wir konnten an beiden Orten langfristige Mietverträge sichern – das bringt uns einen entscheidenden Schritt weiter. Die Verträge bieten Stabilität für die kommenden Jahre und ermöglichen verschiedenen Gruppen, Künstler:innen und Nachbarschaftsinitiativen wachsen zu können, neue Formate zu entwickeln und in der Stadt aktiv zu bleiben.

Location 1 — 4lthangrund 1090 | Spittelauer Platz
177 m² als Gemeinschaftsbüro, Foodcoop und Mehrzweckraum.
Ideal für Treffen, Screenings, Workshops, Diskussionen und Austauschformate.
Zwei getrennte Räume, einzeln oder gemeinsam nutzbar.
Barrierefreier Zugang von der Straße | Küche zur Mitnutzung.

Location 2 — 4lthangrund 1200 | nähe Hanovermark
540 m² auf zwei Ebenen: Gemeinschaftsraum, Gemeinschaftsbüro, Küche und drei Mehrzweckräume.
Gut geeignet für Bewegungsformate, Screenings, Workshops und Austausch.
Drei getrennt begehbare Räume oder als Gesamtfläche nutzbar.
Barrierefrei.

Ein Umzug bedeutet auch: Mietkautionen, Werkzeuge, Reparaturen, Materialien und Menschen, die diese Arbeit machen. Wir brauchen finanzielle Unterstützung ebenso wie praktische Hilfe um diese Räume für alle nutzbar zu machen.

Wie viel fehlt noch?
Rund 28.500 Euro konnten wir bereits organisieren, bis Ende Jänner benötigen wir noch 35.000 Euro an Direktspenden. Insgesamt entstehen einmalige Kosten von rund 63.500 Euro für Umzug und Renovierung. Spenden können per Überweisung oder vor Ort getätigt werden. Weitere Infos:

4lthangrund is moving — and we need your support.
4lthangrund is opening two new locations close to the AlteWU to keep building space for culture, care, neighbors and community.

Spaces at last. 
We managed to secure long-term leases at both locations, which feels like a real step forward. These leases provide stability for the coming years, allowing groups, artists, and neighbourhood initiatives to develop, experiment, and remain present in the city.

Now we build.
Moving means rent deposits, tools, repairs, materials, and people who can do the work. We are looking for financial support and hands-on help to make these spaces usable for everyone. With collective support, we can build spaces that remain accessible over time and grow together.

How much is still needed?
We have already managed to organise around 28,500 euros, but we still require 35,000 euros in direct donations by the end of January. The total one-off costs amount to around 63,500 euros for moving and renovation costs. Donations can be made by bank transfer or on site. More info:
