Grund Für is hosting a Word Art Stage, consisting of smaller performances up to 15min in length, where you can experience some poetry, stand up, readings as well as listen to singers-songwriters. Word Art Stage is international and multilingual.

About the artists:

koriander thymianhas been making music under the stage name schmeckt nach spüli for several years now and have already gained quite a bit of (small) stage experience. “In my music, I deal with politics and feelings, as well as my identity as a young, white, non-binary trans person with neuro-something in the various bubbles I move through.”
Tastes like dish soap, sometimes funny, sometimes sad, sometimes angry, sometimes all of the above, making fun of themselves and the world, battling the demons of capitalism and celebrating being trans among queer friends. Sometimes pop, sometimes rap, sometimes punk, always accompanied by guitar, piano, or accordion (usually unamplified).

Joe Lyimo is a Tanzanian transgender artist and refugee living in Austria. Joe has been active as an artist since 2017, working mainly in poetry, music production, writing, and hip-hop. Joe’s work mixes Swahili rhymes with other genres to create a unique sound and narrative style andhave received several honors, including the Goethe Talents Scholarship and the MQ Artist-in-Residence program (May–June 2025).
Joe’s poems are in English and often touch on identity, love, politics, resilience, and migration. For Word Art Stage Joe will perform a poetry piece that applies spoken word with rhythm and emotional storytelling.

Jasmin Gerstmayr, an Austrian dialect writer and performance artist, who have been performing own texts on stage for a few years now. Jasmin’s first poetry book was recently published: “Friara bin i gean auf ana wüdn Wiesn glegn.”
Jasminwill perform dialect poetry in „Mostviertlerisch“. Style-wise it’s somewhere between lyrical reading and poetry slam. Themes include performance-driven society („Leistungsgesellschaft“), trauma integration and radical softness.

Simon Kalus studied at the Literature Institute in Leipzig, where in recent years, together with Eva Hintermaier and others, Simon have mainly worked on texts and dramaturgy for theater performances that have been staged at venues such as LOFFT in Leipzig and Ballhaus Ost Leipzig. Simon’s texts have been published in magazines and anthologies.
For the Word Art Stage Simon excerpt from the unpublished novel manuscript Zartes Katzi Dasein. It is about a young alcoholic’s journey through Russia and Ukraine at the time of the annexation of Crimea, about toxic masculinity on a small and large scale, and about the protagonist’s posthuman therapist—and yet the text is humorous

Julian Krammer was born in Vienna and raised in Lower Austria. He lives and works in Vienna as a musician and event engineer. His interest has always gone beyond music itself, extending to the technical systems that shape how sound is experienced. Today, he runs his own sound system and actively supports the rave scene in and around Vienna.
Alongside this, his personal focus has long been on playing guitar and writing music. More recently, he has begun to concentrate on lyric writing. In this process, he discovered writing exercises that often unfold into full days of focused creative work—something he finds deeply engaging.
For Word Art Stage he will present one of these pieces.

Susanne Holmlund was born in Budapest and has lived in Vienna since the age of five. She is currently based in Eisenstadt, where she continues her creative work across several artistic disciplines.
Singing has been one of her greatest passions throughout her life, and she is the lead singer of the pop-rock act KMG Group. Recently, she began playing the acoustic guitar and has since started composing her own lyrical songs. Alongside music, she also writes lyrical texts and short stories.
When she is not singing or writing, she works as a visual artist, painting in oil and acrylic as well as watercolor in her studio in Eisenstadt.

Claudia Ploner is studying for a master’s degree in philosophy and a bachelor’s degree in comparative literature and currently working intensively on the topic of gender-based violence and the possibilities of verbalizing its complexity. In addition to the academic work, Claudia is involved in various projects in the theater and film industry, and also write journalistic articles for various magazines and literary texts, because Claudia cannot help but write. Claudia’s literary texts have already been published in various magazines and anthologies.
For Word Arts Stage Claudia have chosen a text entitled “Valerie” in which growing up as a female-positioned body and the accompanying experiences of violence are described with anger, courage, tenderness, and rawness, and are confronted.

Alexa Lopez, the singer and songwriter with the purple voice. The shapeshifter and multi-genre artist blends traditional Latin folk with unexpected modern pop and R&B sounds.
Her bilingual singing is inspired by Alicia Keys, Nathy Peluso and Ariana Grande, while artists like Halsey and Silvana Estrada shape her songwriting. Alexa stands for authenticity, vulnerability and liberation.

Dóra (they/them) returns from their early stand-up retirement for one last hooray at 4lthangrund. After inhaling slightly too many chemical fumes — and getting dangerously bored in organic chemistry class in 2015 — they started doing stand-up for the same reason every cis man starts a podcast: deep spiritual delusion and access to a microphone. But they don’t podcast. So tonight you get the oversharing live — like a mental health crisis with stage lighting.

Fuad Buaita came from Ukraine and have been living in Austria since 2022. Fuad is a musician and also the only participant in the experimental project „RinniR“. The music of this project is made in the genres of drone, ambient and noise, using various methods of sound production: no-input mixer, synthesizers or guitars in unusual tunings.
