Lasst uns in einem Gruppenprozess die Klänge und Assoziationen zu diesem Ort festhalten. Wir treffen uns an 1-2 Sonntagen im Monat um gemeinsam zu musizieren, improvisieren, experimentieren und die Woche entspannt (aus)klingen zu lassen.
Nehmt eure Instrumente bzw. klingende Objekte und Geräte mit, aber keine Sorge, einiges ist auch vor Ort 🙂
Für verhinderte Musiker*innen, Noise-makers, Klassikbobos und und und…
Es ist kein Problem wenn du die letzten Termine verpasst hast und quer einsteigst!

Since our first event was such a large success, we’re back for another queer Lindy Hop social dance event, this time on Saturday, December 20th, from 19:00 to midnight and with a Lindy Hop taster class/ Schnupperkurs at the very start!🌝🎷💕

Don’t leave Vienna for the holidays just yet.
Come dance with us at the spacious Althangrund alte WU Mensa (upstairs level), the same space as our first event.

This time there will be no break in the middle like last time, we’re dancing straight through! Below us, Althangrund will be hosting a holiday Punschumtrunk, we encourage you to head downstairs for drinks from the bar and to mingle with the other guests.

We can’t wait to see you again – the goofy footwork, big smiles, the soft moments, the joyful chaos – it was all inspiring and we can’t wait to dance with you again.

Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned dancer, whether you’re queer, questioning, trans, nonbinary, or anywhere in between this dance floor is for you. Come by and enjoy the jazz and the community🥰

Haraiso ist Radio-Jockey, Musiksammler
und Kulturwissenschafter. Er beschäftigt sich seit langer Zeit mit Popkultur und leitet das Musikprogramm „Sound of the City“ auf Orange 94.0: eine Liebeserklärung an City Pop und japanische Popmusik, zwischen eigenem Charakter und jeder Menge Referenzen zu internationalen Pop-Phänomenen. Er begeistert sich für die Kunst des fine Tune und kann auf keinen Fall auf punchy Grooves verzichten. Er bringt in seinen DJ-Sets die Freude an der musikalischen Entdeckung mit, eine Leidenschaft, die er seit seiner Jugend in der italienischen Provinz mit lokalen Radios und einem legendären Plattenladen kultiviert.

Virginia started playing vinyls in Viennas after-hours. Working mainly in visuals fields she was fascinated by the different designs, colours and the passion involved in the creation of a record. In her travels she started visiting record stores and spending hours inside while listening to the visual worlds she would discover.
„Each track develops it’s own story and connects further with myself and the story of the listeners, a synergy emerges and together we vibrate, exalt, transcend and inscend. This is it, what music represents in my life.“
