Word art floor – call!

OPEN CALL: Word Art Stage Augasse 2–6, 1090 Vienna

🗓️ 24.01.2026 🕕 beginning at 18:00

It’s happening – for the 4. time, 4lthangrund is calling for Grund Für (after the last ones 2018 and 2019 and for the last time at Alte WU). On January 24th, we will join many collectives and crews to bring the Alte WU to life one last time.

One of the floors (Word Art stage) will be dedicated to smaller acts: poetry, stand up and other types of 1-2 people performances that does not need extensive technical setup (up to 2 microphones, 1 mixer, etc.).

The event is a solidarity project to support 4lthangrund new spaces. Entry to the event will be donation-based. So we are searching for the artists performing on solidarity basis as well.

If you would like to perform on Word Art stage, send us a short info to 4lle@4lthangrund.jetzt and let us know:

– what you want to do (e.g. poetry 📝, stand-up 😂, reading 📚, singing 🎙️, playing an instrument 🎸, performing 💃 etc.)

– a short description of it

– the length of your performance ⏱️ (ideally no longer than 15–20 minutes)

– any technical requirements ⚡

– a short description of yourself 👤
